You can submit article ideas to

Who Do I Contact About GALS Events In My Area?
GALS events are managed by local Regional Directors and their Program Committees. Any questions regarding attendance or sponsorships of local events should be addressed to your local chapter.

How Do I Start A Local GALS Chapter?
To start a local chapter, first check our GALS Chapters page to see if a sanctioned chapter exists in your area or if one is currently underway. If not, e-mail
maggie@thegals.org for getting one started!

How Do I Join The GALS “Gal-Pal” Program?
The “Gal-Pal” program is a buddy system for new members who are slightly intimidated to attend their first event alone. This program connects new members with current members in their geographic area. If you would like to become a “Gal-Pal” to new members, e-mail
maggie@thegals.org.

What Happens If An Error Message Appears While Filling-Out The GALS Membership Form?
If we received your subscription via PayPal (check your e-mail for your transaction receipt), we will send you the membership information form via e-mail and complete the registration process for you. If you did not receive a membership information form, please let us know with as much detail about the problem as you can by sending an e-mail to support@thegals.org (error message, operating system, etc).

Why Is My Personal Information Needed For Membership?
The more information you provide allows us to better understand what type of programming and information would be relevant to our members. We do not require this information, but we do appreciate it.

Does My Information Get Sold/Shared With Third Parties?
We respect the privacy of our members and do not sell or share your information with any third parties. It is up to you whether or not you want to share your member information with the other members of GALS in the online, login-required member network.

What Is The GALS Refund Policy?
You will be billed when you first register for membership and again on your membership anniversary date via PayPal. Should you choose to cancel membership, you may do so prior to any anniversary date, so you do not get charged for the upcoming year.

Your membership will be terminated within 24 hours of your cancellation request. To cancel your subscription, mail your membership card with "cancel" written on the back, in a sealed envelope to GALS; P.O. 190; McHenry, MD 21541.

How Do I Subscribe/Unsubscribe To The GALS E-mail List?
The GALS e-mail list is opt-in only. When you subscribe for membership, you will be automatically added to our e-mail list. After you receive your first e-mail, you unsubscribe anytime thereafter by sending a reply to the email and putting "Unsubscribe" as the e-mail subject. Your e-mail address will then be removed from our list within 24 hours.

How Do I Get My Company Involved With GALS?
For more information about becoming a Sponsor or Advertiser, please contact Maggie Lemak or Beverly Budd directly. Our Sponsorship opportunities range from individual events ($3000) to Platinum Partnerships ($25,000). We also have Advertising opportunities from as low as $100 in our smaller markets.

How Do I Become Or Recommend A GALS Speaker?
For more information about becoming or referring a Speaker, please contact the local Regional Director in your area. If there is not a local GALS chapter in your area, please contact Maggie Lemak or Beverly Budd directly. Since our goal is to keep member costs to a minimum, Speakers are not compensated.
