The GALS Goal
GALS is an organization devoted to helping women put themselves on the top of their "to-do" list. Through scheduled events and get-togethers we help women reclaim past interests, while enjoying new and exciting experiences. We believe women who participate in GALS events have a healthier balance between family, responsibilities, and self!

When Maggie relocated to Deep Creek Lake, MD from the DC area, she suddenly found herself in new surroundings with few people that she knew. Maggie always had an interest in event planning, so when other newcomers expressed their desire to meet people and make new friends, Maggie’s creative energy and entrepreneurial skills led her to start GALS.

Within several months, newcomers and natives were brought together in various locations and settings to socialize and network. Since its inception, GALS has been widely successful and now has countless participants. Maggie’s and Beverly’s creativeness and enthusiasm have built the successful women’s organization GALS is today!

If you thrive on making connections, building relationships and having fun, you’ve come to the right place! At our web site, women can sign up for membership, network with other members, interact with staff, and register for upcoming events. Also, a quarterly e-mail is provided to all members with news items, human-interest stories and upcoming events.

In addition, our Event Planners are available to plan your next custom event (private parties, open houses, weekend getaways, etc). Please contact us with information regarding what activity you would like planned and we will be glad to send you a proposal (serious inquires only).
